Monday Musings No. 2

Good morning and happy Monday! In a rather different turn of events, I am waking up in Peoria, Illinois today. Now you might wonder why I am waking up in Peoria of all places haha. Jonathan and I received an invitation to tour the Caterpillar factory, which is where all of our construction equipment comes from. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to take a closer look and I know 2 construction loving little boys who will be more than excited about the souvenirs that we bring back!

We had a relatively low key weekend at home filled with crafts, swimming, and baking cookies! This is our first official “Summer” now that Gabe has started school and I want to fill it with amazing memories and quality time. Trying to balance working full time and being present for the boys involves a lot of juggling but it can be done! I am far from perfect but I try really hard and I realized there might be a lot of Moms in the same boat.
